Character Sketch

Jenny Thomas, also known as “miss perfect,” was the most annoying girl at my school. She stood on the gymnasium floor with a height of 5’5. With an “Oh my gosh, I’m beautiful” look on her face she started blowing bubbles with her gum and twirling her luscious curls around her index finger. Jenny didn’t mind attention. As a matter of fact, she loved it! From wearing exposing clothes, to caking on make-up, she did what she could to get all eyes on her. She was getting ready to step onto the gymnasium floor with the rest of the cheerleaders. That’s right. She was head cheerleader. The loud mouth, ditzy, blonde on the top of the pyramid is what I called her. It was her gorgeous bright blue eyes that fooled all the boys. Or was it her goddess like body? “Could anyone really be this perfect?” is what all the girls thought as she pranced past them in the halls. Her pearly white teeth shined whenever she smiled at her fellow classmates on that gym floor. All the girls wanted to be like her, but that wasn’t a surprise to Jenny. Her looks were great, but her attitude made her ugly. When walking through the halls, this so called “princess” would walk right by the people who weren’t hot jocks or who weren’t her fake girl friends. As she stood there waiting for her turn to do her cartwheels and back hand springs across the floor, she looked scared and uncomfortable. Behind that pearly white smile and bright blue eyes was fear, fear of something that was bothering her. Her tragic home life scared her. She was good at hiding things, especially her feelings.
